The free world needs to enact a fundamentally new law on Information or Communication. The existing laws are critically ill equipped in handling the uncontrolled spread of lies and falsehoods and conspiracy theories and faux news (aka fakenews). The people, the traditional consumer of information and disinformation are also the creator and spreader of disinformation, .... these were all made possible by the Internet. The existing laws do not handle the new reality adequately. Since the mid 1990s we were in a totally new world and the rule of traditional laws do not apply here. We need new laws to fight Disinformation, Lies, Falsehoods, FakeNews (FauxNews).... The locational boundary evaporated with internet, to manufacture and spread Disinformation.
