Was it? Obama perfected Identity Politics and it has been used in spades since he departed. Identity Politics has create minority, victim groups, who engage in hatred and mob rule as their main weapon, and hatred of whites and males as their main target. This has not united Americans in a celebration of diversity, but rather it has created smoldering divisions that we have no hope of healing. We were more united as a country decades ago. Democrats have done more harm to race relations than any previous movement in my lifetime. They set race relations back decades.
