Hi Jenna.

I know you tried to answer this for me before, but I can be a little dense at times.

1) Generally speaking, when a company is going to announce BEFORE the bell, and good earnings are expected, is the best time to play the stock the day before or the day of the earnings report or the day after.

2) You mentioned that it may be OK to take a stock home if it was at least at the 75% level of its day range and was up for the day--- is this for a company which is going to report before the bell the following day, or for a company that is reporting after the bell on this day, or both, or neither.

3) Generally speaking, when a company is going to announce AFTER the close (lets use after the close Wed as an example), and good earnings are expected, is the best time to play the stock on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday ?

I've been noticing that a lot of good moves are happening several days before the announcements, so maybe earlier is better ?

by the way, I know that one has to watch what is happening intraday to see what the best opportunities are, but I am curious in what you feel the trends are lately with this in terms of timing for earnings plays.

Thanks for helping a slow learner.

David

p.s. I think I had terrible timing with MAVK and need to learn from my mistakes.
