Hello Joe,

My arguement was not about Novell ... it was about your comments towards Microsoft. You attempted to argue that Novell was dead because of Microsoft's approach towards dealing with NDS for NT. If you note on their Web Page, they in no way try to discredit NDS for NT as a bad solution, or as technically inferior ... they simply say that they won't support customer's who buy it.

My post, if you choose to read it again, was specifically about your response, and the responses of others with respect to this matter. (Sorry, I had to go re-read my post to see what might have misled you to believe that I was talking about Novell ... I don't see anything.)

Perhaps if I was unclear in my post about the subject matter, you could let me know how to be more specific. The topic at hand was the discussion about the future events relating to Microsoft and this latest volley. I, obviously unlike you, feel that this latest series of events are going to have a major effect on the industry.

Also, you state:

You are a good "worker". You are very "loyal". Of which neither
quality will make any money for the shareholders.

in your last post to me, you spoke about Microsoft and their actions towards IBM:

They were'nt concerned about OS/2 and effectively killed it, and
that was with a company that had/has a 76Billion dollar market cap.

Maybe if IBM had more good "worker[s]" that were as "loyal" they would have properly developed OS/2, and marketed it properly. But without these, all the money in the world didn't help OS/2. They had the chance, but blew it.

But obviously that simply indicates that money is not the answer. It's the skills and dedication of the people involved ... completely influenced by the industry momentum! I see that momentum changing ... I'm not sure if you are stating that you do not?

I can't quite tell right now what you are up to ... what your intentions of these posts are. You stated that you sold the stock and were out. Now you're back arguing like you're still stuck with an investment that you didn't sell. And you've openly stated that you want Novell at $6 1/2 ... are you just trying to push the price down?

I honestly appreciate your real analysis when you provide it ... you *can* provide real information when you choose to. But lately, I'm at a loss of what your intentions are with these posts ...

Facinating ...
