If you were jumped by Muslims you could not report it in Canada. However, if you were Muslim and pretended to be jumped by Asians the Prime Minister would speak-out. The initial reports stoked fears of Islamophobia in Canada and even drew a rebuke from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who said the attack doesn’t represent Canada.
