Yeah, I considered that as a possible option also. If it weren't for the fact that Bezos owns the Post I would say you could almost guarantee that would be the outcome.

But he has to think about setting a precedent by just paying the little brat off. If he pays this kid off it will open the door for other people to start suing newspapers about articles they don't like.

First amendment rights and freedom of the press have to enter in this and the Post was simply reporting the news. It's tough that this kid doesn't like it. Maybe next time he'll think twice before he makes an ass out of himself on nationwide TV.

My guess is that there are very few people out there that don't think this kid was being an ignorant little punk by staring the Native American man down the way he did.
