OT - You know, never thought about it, but those tattoo images can be like a psychoanalysts dream. Very often they're symbolic, meaningful to the person... can be discussed and analyzed - and have no less content than any important archetypal dreams... I would think.
Speaking of dreams... Had one last night. It's early morning, before sunrise. For some reason, I'm in my office. The doorbell rings, and an elderly man brings in his friend who is having a heart attack. I can see that he is right, and that person IS having a heart attack. I'm in a bit of a turmoil - don't they know that I'm retired? Some other patients walks in, but I don't have a chance to talk to them. Before calling the ambulance, I want to give the man an Aspirin, and I go to my consulting room to look for it. I found a single tablet and quickly walked back to give it to the patient. Alas, in those few seconds all my patients somehow decided that I'm not coming back, and I can see them already outside, on the sidewalk, apparently making other plans... I'm not sure, since all this woke me up.
My analysis - looks like it's time to pack it in. |
