“Why do people make us so many lies about Trump?”

Because they desperately want to justify their decision to vote for him and support him. They need the lies to comfort them and make them feel like it’s rational and morally acceptable to continue to support him as he dismantles this nation, makes us less secure, and shames us to the rest of humanity.

They’ve dug themselves so deeply into his depravity at this point that it’s very difficult to continue the lies. While I’m amazed at there are still people smokin’ what he sells, I’m in awe of their mental and moral flexibility. (Not that I admire it, but I’m in awe of it.)
