Dave,

Nice timing on the break. Now you should have an uncluttered head to assess the week ahead. I had an indication that tomorrow would be relatively large in point terms. It appears from the day in Asia that it will be large to the upside as long as Asia can hold onto the gains of Mon. If that plays out, freshly broken out stocks should do very well. From my ever evolving watchlist (here come the "A" stocks again), many of these are broken out as of Fri and should go on movement/volume watch.
FAXX (HTF...look for a double)
MTON (could approach 10, a POW)
AASI (could approach 5...now at 3 5/8)
ABERF (out of a year long downtrend)
ABIO (out of a year long downtrend)
ABTX (IL short candidate though)
ADTN (I've always liked this onefor its wide runs)
AEM (gold stock, gapped through resistance on volume)
AEN (going to 40, now 25 3/4)
AKRN (broke out on Wed. continuation verified on Fri.)
ALR (Out of the downtrend, out of a small ascending triangle on a bullish engulfing candle)
ALTN (broke out Tuesday...watch volume)
AMCV (broke out Thu. A classic MIMBO in Aug on a 5 yr. chart)
ANB (thin volume, stairstepping along)
ARGX (holy moly!)
ARTC (TO THE DOWNSIDE, confirmed short)
ARTG (not broken out Fri. but it's a MIMBO with retest vol. verification. Target: 10 to 11)
ARTS (watch for a breakdown, probable short)
ARTT (HMMMMM!)
ARS (yer avg. downtrend breakout)
ASHW (of course)
ASPT (failed inverted H&S breakout. should make a safe short-term short)
ASTX (possible failed breakout. Possible short candidate)
ATCS (Very Interesting!)
BEAM (buy sequential from a week ago w/ possible continuation)
BOSCF (broke out on Thu. Now sitting on retest. a POW)
CBB (52 7/16 but hey, it's a great stock)
CSRE (good prospects on this one)
DVD (a GAT looking to continue)
JAVCD (not for the feint of heart)
THQI (a short if it drops under 19)

I'm going to TA ASTN since it looks like a good candidate to get in very low and get a large move out of. I'll be back shortly with that one.

AT appears to be a possible IL violator. I'll be back with that one too.

This is a bigger list than the usual 2 dozen since short candidates appear on it now. I still have Thu and/or Fri as critical on the Dow followed by Feb 1 as critical also.
