I saw that. Not good and certainly not great optics. However, think about it from Trump's position. Here he has an FBI, DOJ, NSA, and CIA that are manifestly trying to take him down. Then they ask him to believe their intelligence assessments, when we all have proof of their conniving, lying, and soft coup attempts. Trump has a more than decent case to be made that he can't really trust our rogue intelligence agencies that even Congress struggles to hold accountable. It's the swamp he's dealing with. Of course, saying he believe Putin over our intelligence agencies is going too far. I don't know anyone in their right mind that would believe a word Putin says. Kind of like when Bush Jr. said he looked into Putin's eyes and saw his soul. How corny was that?
