They could quit their jobs and work elsewhere. Why don't they? Having said that, there's nothing wrong with a strike. They are exercising their rights to protest. Unfortunately, as long as there is the freedom for people to move around and apply for jobs (otherwise known as a free market in employment), then there will be competition that drives down wages to an equilibrium rate that unionists will never be satisfied with. So what do Socialists want to do? Set wage prices. That never works, but they do it anyway. They pressured Walmart so much, that Walmart increased the wages and then fired a bunch of people to offset the costs. That's called economics.

Socialism is never more powerful than free market forces. Since Socialism doesn't understand mathematics, Socialism always fails in the end.
