James, good passage, but it doesn't directly address the recent debate that I had with those women.

To them, their own identity as women means they don't have to endure what they consider to be "mansplaining." They can dismiss whatever argument is being presented to them, no matter how logically sound it may be, because the one who is presenting it is a man.

Hence they are the exact opposite of Rand's "feminine women." They are women who suffer from inferiority complexes. It is why they need the liberal version of "feminism" to put men into their proper place, i.e. subjects to the collective where all hints of discrimination are banned.

Or to put it simply, they don't know how to defend what they believe in, so they resort to silencing the opposition using whatever means necessary.
