Maybe you and Walter are right. If Mr. Matthews looked at my comments, he would probably say something like the following(for those of you who have seen him on CNBC interviews):
This is my town, this is my company, this is my fief-dom. Who are you to challenge or question my actions? I'm the chairman, I started this company. Whether my company pays me $3,200,000 is none of your business. My company pays me $3,200,000 because the company has no choice. It was my order. But you will feel my pain when I lose $2.1 billion, because you, as a shareholder, will not receive $3,200,000 to cushion the hit. Have a good day. |
