re: Power consumption

Aside from the expense of the camera itself, the main bugaboo about digital cameras is that they drain batteries very quickly all by themselves. In fact, the latest review of a new digital camera I read,( Lord help me, I'll find that link somewhere..) laments the fact that the batteries lasted only about 20 minutes. Vapor! and its 3.3 av. volts (this info according to the Iomega web page and purposely no reference to how many amps, we'll see how much it REALLY drains) will only add to this misery. All costs saved from using and developing film rear their ugly head again when you have to buy battery packs by the dozens just to photograph a family vacation.
