I have been happy with the site. Yes, some people may inflate their resumes, but by the time I have slogged through the resumes, conducted phone interviews, seen a selected group of candidates face-to-face, and checked references, my biggest concern, as always, will be my judgment.

Sites like Upwork and Indeed have certainly made seeking work and hiring employees more efficient, although the compensation for gig work has probably taken a hit because of the pricing transparency.
