What we know about the politics of Michael Burry.

Michael Burry, legendary investor who predicted the subprime mortgage crisis, is quite a reserved person i.e. we don't know that much about the man. This could be because of his secrecy but I suspect that it is because of a general lack of recognition to the legendary investor. As a self proclaimed Burryhead I felt the need to find out more about the man, the first question I asked myself was on Burry's politics. I can safely say that i have come across documents prouving that Michael Burry is indeed quite political, and the answer might suprise you, or not...

One of my first observations was the presence of the novel ":Atlas Shrugged" in his office in some pictures for articles, you can see the book on the bottom left part of his desk on this image. This still did not feed my appetite for more information on Burry.

Iam happy to say that I have found the answer to my question. It turns out that Mike Burry has made some sizeable contributions to various different campaign organisations supporting the libertarian-minded Republican Sen. Rand Paul (the pic is down below). I am quite happy about this discovery, being an Objectivist. I would be quite interested in finding out all of you're opinions on this discovery.
