C'mon... You have to do extrapolations based on current technologies
and physics.

Let me try to spell this out simpler:

- Handheld devices need batteries
- batteries are expensive, so manufactures like to use standard AA or
AA if they can.
- Standard batteries have a short finite life based upon power drain.
- Clik! (as I've estimated from Iomega's terse statement) draw as
much power as most handheld devices BY THEMSELVES
- CLik! (as it looks today) has a serious potential limitation.
