New income tax effect in Illinois. Not being able to deduct more than $10K because of living in a high tax state did not increase my taxes. The estimators that came out indicated I would be a bit worse off.

My property taxes are $13.5K. I imagine others closer to the city with higher income and higher property taxes may not be happy. But they are mostly liberals who ask for it.

With a new governor now we will have increased gambling and legal weed, since it worked out so well everywhere else.
