Scoot 1212 ask if the rally from 2346 could be a truncated wave V. This would mean wave V is already over or near over. I suppose that would be possible but I find it highly improbable.
The way I have wave V playing out is really the most common and is a simple five waves up.

Truncated fives occur but they certainly are not norm by a wide margin. The five wave extending past the end of three is certainly the most common.
If few were to continue up to a new ATH without a correction then I would have to make the V running from 2346 and ending at the new ATH a possibility.
