Is this the Monty Python thread or what? How many posts do we have to wade through regarding the freakin cost of batteries.

I guess if you live in the sticks, you'd have a hard time finding rechargeable batteries.

However, in civilization, every single Target, Kmart, Circuit City, Best Buy, CompUsa, Computer City, Walgreen's, etc etc etc carries them.

For KE's sake, can we just move on? Power consumption will not be an issue if the cost/benefit of the product is there. And it will be.
