You got a reduced deduction - but you also got reduced rates. Heck - I thought the goal of the loony left was to tax the rich. My first pass is that I will be about even. We had been able to itemize - now we cannot - but the number was close. Losing the individual exemption was balanced by lower rates.

Families with kids should be big winners - like our daughter and her family. I am dying to know what their refund is vs last year. She to my knowledge is not a Trump fan. I think her husband might be.
