Regarding the largest diamond, it's described as a single crystal, of silvery-grey appearance with many dark inclusions. Anyone think this sounds gem quality? The dark inclusions lead me to believe it isn't. Ashton's reporting certainly leaves a lot to be desired.
I'm betting we can expect more news soon, including the report of aeros (apparently still flying in Alberta), more AB land staking, and B.Sampling and reconnaissance drill programs.
I too am completely behind this play! Today's news is more confirmation of its authenticity. There is much more here than Ashton seems to even want to hint at. The report on K6 is a start.

PS, d'you know that ACA announced having completed mbs drilling K6 in Aug.8/97?! (also, K14A) I believe the delay was to have the coloured diamonds certified, and re-confirmed, at various labs. Plus, of course, Ashton did not want that news out, as they are still trying to get land in the area (time is of less importance than area, so, they wait).
While ACA uses the excuse of keeping things from DeBeers, that's just the start. . . . .)
