Hi mindmeld ..... As it happens I also approached SI Ron a while back about the appointment of a Moderator for this board. He also informed me that a vote would be needed in order for him to appoint a Moderator and it would be based on who got the largest number of supporters. Now the thought occurred to me, at that time, that we could then have the likes of any of those 17 on my "Ignore List" banding together and putting their own "Candidate" forward. And if they "won the contest" then I could just imagine where this board would end up. So, on the one hand, I would support your candidacy, but on the other hand I would want to see what the reaction would be in terms of a "rival candidate", or two, coming from, what I would regard as "Highly Undesirables" which would make this board untenable for me. It may be best that there is no Moderator for this board and that individuals can decide who they wish to communicate with and see, and who they don't. You have no doubt seen what I have preferred to do in that regard. In the meantime I'm going to switch on the 17 on my "Ignore List" so that I can see what they are doing with regard to possibly putting forward their "candidate".
