The consolidation I was looking for 2 weeks ago didn't quite materialize but looks ripe now. This week's action in the leader SOX is telling. It briefly went above the falling trend line from the all time highs on Monday and has backed off aggressively. Today it gapped up to that trend line and was repelled with an ugly candlestick forming so far.

Gold looks ripe to start its climb again. Bought a long term position today.
