If you do not "trust the government" then they should come and take away your paved roads, your gas line, your water line, your electricity, your sewage, your food inspection, etc.. etc.. you know, all those pesky socialist stuff that you taxes pay for, and see how long it takes you before you come begging for them to put it all back.
