Last night I think I mentioned here my hopes that Trump would fight the subpoena of his tax returns by the Ways & Means committee. Yet, only tonight have I heard it mentioned by anyone else. Mark Levin raised the issue with Ken Starr on his Fox show tonight and it was exceptionally interesting to me. It seems there is a constitutional issue at stake and Trump could well stop them under the prohibition against Bills of Attainder which is designed for just this kind of thing. It was a great interview all the way through if anyone gets a chance to watch a rerun. Starr explained his rationale for concluding that there is no basis for any claim of collusion or much of anything else. Sometimes, watching CNN a lot starts conflict your thinking about all this. It is good to pick something like this up on Fox now and then.
