I'm definitely biased against the shit-hole of Fiji for a goodly number of reasons. But I'm not biased against China. If China ceased to exist this evening I very much doubt it would seriously affect my life. I probably wouldn't miss Kazakhstan either. I'd still get Chinese food three blocks from our home. I enjoy where I live and Jay seems to enjoy where he lives. We both also enjoy traveling, although two stop-overs in Fiji between hers and Australia cured me of that particular place. Nixon and Chou En Lai could be said to be the proximate cause of restoration of trade between communist China and the US, and the trade relationship has evolved over the decades and will continue to do so. One-sided trade never lasts long. It's either adjusted or ended, and given the money involved it will be adjusted.
