Dwight - **Off topic***
I'm looking into a scanner for my wife's machine, would prefer SCSI but she has a CPQ LCD 3000 machine, and I don't particularly feel like opening it up. I've read some good reports about the Visioneer 6000 also, it runs around 299. Have you had any printing problems since connecting your printer via the scanner's passthru? I read a post from someone (possibly Rich Weisxxxx) on this thread recently where he said they are advising customers to use a second parallel port for a PP scanner, as connecting both on one can 'blow the port'. First time I've heard of this, so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks,
John
