Andy, what you say is true. The problem is we don't know where Clik! is the various stages of development. I accept the specs listed for Clik! so far, and await the ones not listed. The energy use is an area where our information is incomplete, so I see no point in worrying that it is not feasible to implement until we see the specs.

We're all wasting our time arguing over whether a disk drive is a feasible solution for digital cameras. Why? Because we already know it is. The Sony Mavica digital camera has already proven that disk-based storage will work and that consumers will buy it. The Clik! is a much better solution than a 1.44m floppy. While Clik! is more expensive than a 1.44m floppy, it is the only thing currently on the horizon which will allow digital cameras to progress on to taking large numbers of high resolution pictures.
