All,
I may have jumped the gun on the dermagraft TC comments. After further checking it doesn't look like atis will have full usa rights for anything other than the burn indication, although it still raises the issue of serving many other purposes and potentially being a nice money maker, even if only getting milestone payments, other indications, and 50% partnering. What it does or doesn't ultimately do is yet to be seen though. It does bring up the curious issue of whether there are even other uses for dermagraft-TC or dermagraft which have not yet been looked at with wide market implications.
Other tidbits I had been interested in finding out:
The ATIS shares owned by S&N are unregistered and can't be sold for at least 30 months. Also, the additional 15 $million which will be paid by 1/4/99 will paid immediately if dermagraft is approved(not given a panel recommendation, but approved).
off-topic to David S.....gern's research is incredibly interesting. Unfortunately for them(or fortunate depending on the day) is that their area of research garners mucho attention with every announcement, as it covers life/death/aging, the things which frighten people the most, rather than the regular basic illnesses which kill people daily. Hope your weather has cleared by now. Beautiful day here, but it was monday and work called, even though most had the day off.
Regards,
