For me, the best evidence I have found for crustal displacement is the curved line of sea mounts that extend between Kamchatka Russia, and terminate with the Hawaiian Islands..

If we accept the prevailing belief that these sea mounts are the remnants of a mantle plume/hotspot, for that line to suddenly change direction can only be caused by a crustal displacement of significant order because that plume doesn't move.
