So I just discovered your thread Elmat (posted to Elroy via PM) while looking for my compatriot Olive Man Snowshoe.. His last post was a month ago here ... I worry about him.. a few years.. not many older than I and one of the 'regular guys' I know on SI Regular as in the old US/Canuck term for an OK chap... No politics ? I will not see the word Trump unless related to a card game ? I do wonder oi the thread will be predisposed to posts that are anti china .. ie it will fail... I ask this because,, after all these years you know me.. I have my own mind.. I abhor dogma.. love free thought.. can not be put on a 'side' routinely.. Example.. I am on record on SI stating Trump is the stereotypical Ugly American.. Yet Bentway banned me here .. Subject 59777 for the crime of honesty and fairness... free thinking is terribly dangerous on 99% of SI threads and one must always mind their Ps and Qs if one is such an animal.. Largely that other thread such a place IMO.. free.. Is this thread also free... if so I will stay.. bearing in mind politics is off topic.. and I will watch for political posts that go un admonished... Am I missing the point ? :)
