Pricing should be left to the free market. If people don't like Qualcomm's prices, they are free to invent their own products, patent them, and take them to market in competition to Qualcomm. The government shouldn't be in the business of determining prices. That is a function best handled by the free market. As you know, Qualcomm does not have a monopoly on 5G. They have some very stiff competition in Huawei, which engages in IP theft and predatory pricing. So our government should not be trying to undercut a domestic company in favor of Huawei. Of course, I'm not an IP lawyer, so my opinions really are based on business thinking, not legal thinking.
