If they don't get a JV to help with a decent exploratory drilling program then more shares is a real possibility. Focusing on this 2ndQ drilling possibility. They moved off 1stQ, okay, that happens. They might very well move off 2ndQ, but if they do intend to meet this time line and aipn's cash situation precludes them from keeping all their current projects going, then a JV would need to be inked in the very near term.

And were back to the siesmic...I feel that it would be reasonable for a JV to get done based on promising data. But I'm not convinced that aipn is going to release the results on Chikuduk etc, as soon as they have it. How much time might be involved for a potential partner to evaluate the data on areas of this size? Can it be done in a few days? Or would it require many weeks? Again, this discussion is using 2Q for drill in the ground.

Are you aware of any situations where a company (not a major) released results of an ongoing seismic study and the results were presented negatively?

My, the questions just keep flowin' out. <G>
