I don't believe in any centralized models. Their central flaw is that you assume that a small group of people at the very top making all the decisions, including pricing decisions, will do a better job than millions of economic actors buying and selling from each other, allowing risk and reward, supply and demand, to set the equilibrium price. I'll go with free market economics every time. Why is it that most of the innovation in the world occurs right here in the US and not in the Nordic countries? They do have some innovation, but nothing like the unbelievable engine of innovation and wealth that our system has produced and continues to produce.
