Jacob Wohl reported a death threat to the Minneapolis Police Department. Small problem: he wrote the threat to himself from a fake account he created, posing as a gay Hispanic "diversity coordinator," who does not really exist.

Jacob Wohl created "Drake Holmes," a "Minneapolis born and raised... diversity coordinator" with a rainbow flag in his bio.…

Minneapolis Police sent over the threats Jacob Wohl reported and were submitted into evidence. One of them is the "Drake Holmes" direct message shown in Wohl's documentary. "Holmes" was Wohl, sending DMs to himself. Credit to @webster for scooping the police report.

I talked to Aaron Delgado, the Minnesota realtor whose photo was used for Wohl's "Drake Holmes" creation. Delgado's picture was stolen from Instagram. He has no idea why he was chosen. "One of my clients messaged me. My face was making national news for all the wrong reasons."

Aaron doesn't follow politics but wants people to know he had no idea who Jacob Wohl was until his identity was stolen. He's wondering if he needs an attorney. "It’s completely random. I have no idea how any of this happened," he told me. "I don't even have cable."

Jacob Wohl (born December 12, 1997) [1] is an American far-right [2] [3] [4] conspiracy theorist, [5] [6] [7] fraudster, [5] [8] and internet troll. [9] [10] He was formerly an online blogger and a columnist for the website The Gateway Pundit. [9] [11] [12] [13] Wohl drew national attention in 2018 after news outlets reported his involvement in a failed plot to discredit Robert Mueller, the U.S. Special Counselinvestigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, by attempting to frame him for sexual misconduct. [1] [8] [6]

The National Futures Association (NFA) banned Wohl for life in 2017. The NFA had received investor complaints about his activity, and upon completing its investigation, concluded that Wohl was guilty of refusing to cooperate with the NFA as required, misrepresenting investments and misleading investors. [3] [14] [15] Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) charged Wohl with 14 counts of securities fraud in the same year, and forced him to pay $32,919 in restitution. [16] [17] [14]

Wohl has created and promulgated a number of false or unfounded claims and conspiracy theories, mainly against Democratic Party politicians such as Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, and Ilhan Omar. [3] [4] [18] On February 26, 2019, Twitter permanently suspended Wohl for violating its rules regarding creating and operating fake accounts. [19]
