Your post looks like you are playing to Honey Bee's audience, not engaging in a serious debate. You know I don't have lefty friends. Scratch that. I do have friends who are liberal, but I rarely agree with their view points. I'm not going to justify myself to you. I don't need to and I don't care what you think of me. Your post shows me that you are not able to speak your mind freely. You too are captured by the echo chambers. I may be one of the few free people left, who will speak my mind to anyone. If the only opinions you want are the ones parroted back to you that agree with you, then you are most certainly on the wrong thread. I replied to your post in good faith. So I'll try again.

You want to see my PM to Honey Bee? Certainly. I'll do you one better. Shortly after I saw her get nasty on her thread about my banning, I posted the entire thread of our conversations that lead to my banning including my PM to her, so that she would stop being rude and we could part ways with no more being said. Here is that entire thread. As you can see, I was always cordial to her and was not quite sure what happened, except that she disagreed with my opinions. That's ok with me, but I don't know why that would result in my being banned. You can read the whole thing here:

Now back to Trump's deficits. I've never been a fan of deficits. I believe in balanced budgets. I voted for Trump and I like most of his policies, but I do not agree in blowing out our deficit and I don't agree with the Fed manipulating interest rates below the market rate and engaging in QE. I think the Fed should be either abolished or narrowed to price stability only in terms of their mandate. I am of the Austrian persuasion when it comes to economics. So these monetary and fiscal policies are anathema to the way I think.

As to the liberals complaining about Trump's budget deficits, I find that quite rich. They don't give a crap about deficits. They are just attacking him on something they think will damage him. For them it is about power and acquiring it, not about values and good economic stewardship. I mean for Heaven's sake, they want to engage in MMT to pay for all their free stuff to people. As far as I'm concerned, money printing, deficits, and low interest rates are all borrowing from the future and are highly irresponsible. I would say the same thing whether it was Bush Jr, Obama, or Trump. It's Trump now and I don't like it any better. That's my take on things.
