In addition, it's caused a lot of other strife. The bottom line is that she banned me because I refused to conform to her standards of what a conservative means. She wants strict adherence to zero criticism of any Trump policies. But I was talking about deficits and then she threatened me with banning, which of course, got my hackles up, because you know how I get about Freedom fo Speech. So then she banned me. Once she started to malign me, I posted the entire thread of our conversations that lead to my banning, so that anyone who cares would know the truth of what a psycho she was, given that all my posts were reasonable, non-threatening, and cordial. What I found out is that the NPCs and censorship are not all on the left side of the aisle. They exist on the right side as well. Honey Bee behaved exactly as the left did and some of her minions then began to attack me right after I was banned, calling me a leftie. Go figure. I don't think you would call me a leftie. So now I know that echo chambers exist on both sides of the aisle. Looks like a whole lot of people on the left and right are looking for safe places where they can talk to their doppelgängers and not engage in any discussion that would make them uncomfortable. Very strange and not very American, if you ask me. We used to be able to have a lot more discussion with a lot less strife.
BTW, there are a bunch of posters that PMed me wondering what happened and expressed support, but they decline to post to me in public, because they fear she'll ban them too. That's what Dictators do. They put fear into people. I just don't take that kind of crap. But I'll tell you what, I found out who the posters are who have cojones. Several stand outs acted with honor. So there are some true Americans out there still. |
