The news readers are stunned = unaccustomed to such things, normally reporting on Tinkerbell Jacinda and village life or interviewing a visiting celebrity they don't seem to know what to say or what emotions they are supposed to act out.

My reaction is that TeoTwawki is wayyyy underway. In June 2015 I explained that Tarken, (little friend of all the world), dying was a canary in a coal mine. A bad sign. So I'm only surprised that a revenge attack happened here on such scale.

Sadiq Khan was blathering on about fear and how bad it is while his city is barricaded and under police arms and guards due to many Moslem attacks. He should not be surprised by revenge attacks.
I'd go further upstream and point out that USA supported Osama bin Laden against Gorby and lied about WMDs as an excuse to attack Saddam and sons and the deck of cards, and Assad and his nice wife Asma and carnage in Yemen.... and whatnot .
It's a big picture and hundreds of years long.
