I love the fact that you called out a comparison to Andrew Jackson. He's the guy who called the Central Bank of the US, the precursor to the Federal Reserve, a "Den of Vipers" and fought against the concept of a central bank because of its inherent corruption. He ultimately lost that battle, since we now have the Federal Reserve, but I'm convinced he was correct and that the Federal Reserve remains the cancerous Communist Politburo at the heart of our capitalism. You are exactly right about the next generations not absorbing their lessons in history. That's why they are repeating all the same mistakes of history. They aren't evolving and learning. It's a damned shame.

As for Hillary supporters, your post was an excellent post-mortem about how that resulted in the freakout flip and leftward lurch in the Dem base. I think Trump is a catalyst in so many ways. I knew he'd be a bull in the China shop. I voted for him, because I wanted him to break the mould, and by God, he's performed that function beautifully. I think he's sailing to re-election too, on the backs of a bunch of screaming ninnies on the left. It explains a lot about why we still see so much of this:
