OK, posts have been made on this thread(and others) about the DRAM and NAND(primarily) excessive inventory driving down prices that may take months and even years to recover. In the meantime analysts have been reducing earnings and revenue estimates on a consistent basis for several(many) months.

Here is one summary of a different "take" on the market outlook. This summary was posted yesterday and was largely responsible for the bottom line number to exceed +10 on Friday as shown in the table just posted for the SOXM weekly results. Note the statement "citing a recent pickup in NAND equipment orders". What does Citi know that others do not know?-:)
