Do you know why Trump is so popular with his base? Because (1) He delivers on what they want. And (2) He doesn't give a shit about you, me, or anyone who didn't vote for him. This 2nd piece is a neglected part of his strength. It allows him to focus on what matters to his base. And also provides emotional satisfaction for them. Now if you want to vote for some wishy-washy Obama-like redux who compromises on everything so that he can be the president of everyone, then go right ahead. But that is not what I want. What I want is someone who undoes Trump's legacy as fast as possible and then moves on to implement everything that I care about. Such a person can never win any of RW votes and is the exact opposite of who you are asking for. I will not vote for him. And neither will a substantial part of the progressives. Choose him and you will have another 4 years of Trump. This is as clearly as I can explain the situation. You can have the last word on it. ST
