Have a "camp" central PA..... 1st trip everybody got ticks. did some homework... found rose germanium repels them and pyrethrin kills them. we place germanium on cloth headbands above boots and rub a bit on cuffs and collars. spray pyrethrin via a quart spray bottle in the area of activity and it either repels them or kills them. in 3 years nobody has had a tick attach and only a few were found on our hands during the day. Found on the net that various essential oils can battle lyme effectively. Neighbor's kid got it years ago. Nearly killed her. Neighborhood Vet told him to double or triple the antibiotics prescribed and she recovered. Shootie
