Well, Sal, you know, I've tried between sardonic commentary on the news and whatever to sorta guess what's the deal with "browser integration", but it's all beyond the comprehension of mere mortals, or at least beyond the bordom threshold of mere mortals anyway. Who knows. There's still this thing about "cutting off their air supply, giving away everything Netscape sells", and the crummy retail Windows95 that OEMs wouldn't touch but which is the best selling retail software, must be what the customers want, why can't the OEMs understand that, and the old disk defrag/Chrysler car radio line, which was sorta ok for the little goodies bundled into successive versions that might give you incentive to buy the upgrade, but is nonsense when you give it all away before the next version is out, and... Nobody wants to rise to the bait on that stuff, it's easier to call the apostates commies.

So, I'm left to ponder the duality of man, and wait for the next court date for more entertainment. Think Bill's dusting off his dancing shoes for round 2 of the kinder, gentler experience?

Cheers, Dan.
