I don't even know what to say to that thing....Wow.

However, I am not sure that is worse than what MU did in 1984, while I was a student there.

We used to have Willie Wampum as our mascot. Full Indian gear and a hatchet and all of that. WW was tossed prior to my arrival and we had an Indian student do traditional Indian dance for a few years. <sarcasm>That really fired up the crowd, </sarcasm> but the administration was trying to separate itself from the whole WW days. Anyway, after realizing how traditional Indian dancing, although very cool in the right setting, just was not working at a sporting event, they brought in this travesty to be our mascot for a few years. They were indeed the dark ages of MU basketball.
