"Politics is too often a competition between bigots or, at least, is swift to make people bigots who think they are fighting bigots when they are simply fighting over honest disagreements." Nope to destroy the biosphere or not destroy it is not an "honest" disagreement. This frame is what allows the media to find an opposing "voice" for everything- no matter how crazy and disgusting. Sometimes people are wrong. Sometimes a whole party goes wrong. Nazis are just one horrendous example- but there are lots more.
