I'm happy feeding 1 hungry person, and much happier feeding 100 when I can.

It makes a big difference to everyone because that 1, or those 100, can help others they wouldn't have been able to help otherwise.

Hunger is a worldwide problem, and feeding hungry people helps to solve it, one person at a time, every day.

Have you considered engineering a way to get our now rotting crops that China isn't buying anymore distributed to hungry people?
