I don't think that the consitutional convention was to be called to delete the Atheist clause, but the people of Arkansas are now aware of it. I wonder what they are going to do about it. Can you think of any other group of people that are forbidden to serve in public office or testify in court? Why is this even tolerated? What do you think of the clause?
