This is off the subject, but I thought someone might be able to help me. I bought an HP OFFICEJET 600. I OWN a SYQUEST EZFLYER. I have LPT1 for the HP, and the EZ won't boot daisy chained with the HP, so I INSTALLED a 2nd Parallel port for the EZ. when I plug in the EZ into the 2nd parallel or the 1st parallel with or without the HP, the computer does NOT turn on. it buzzes...
SOOO, I took OUT the 2nd parallel card, plugged in the EZ,and it worked..
the moral of the story is... the HP works fine on EITHER lpt1 or lpt2.
the syquest won't boot if the 2nd parallel card is in,

LPT1 is irq7 and i/o 378 Lpt2 was given irq 11 and 278 (epp)
Plese if anyone can figure this out >>> HELP HELP HELP...the syquest people couldn't, the HP people couldn't, and the comptuer maker couldn't and the parallel card people (SIIG) haven't gotten bak to me yet... anyone want to take this baby on?

Thanks
Belinda :)
