After the revolution is over.

A huge need for revitalization will surface.

Millions starving will become a global issue (at least for our hemisphere).

Our generosity will be tasked to push out the parasitic partners of the past regime's corruption.

We need to quarantine all of the corruptly confiscated assets, before they disappear (hoping they haven't already).

Then their treasury needs to sublet proper management of the assets to those who were ripped off by nationalization and a current profit, plus payback structure be put in place.

Minimal government investment, but a source of revenue that also covers reparations.

I doubt anyone would be interested beyond US firms.

I like your ignore idea, and I'm sure any oil player in the Middle East likes it better than cutting their own production quotas.

Friends within the oil oligarch are fickle, to say the least.
